Stallion Management

Saw Ranch stands a select group of resident stallions every season.  Stallions are maintained on an individualized nutritional program as well as their own grooming, exercise, and turn out schedule.

Saw Ranch can manage all aspects of standing a stallion from billing and contracts to collecting and shipping.

If you're interested in having your stallion join us at the ranch please contact us.

Non-Resident Stallions

Stallions still in training or on the road competing can still join our stallion roster and receive all the same benefits from our expert staff as our resident stallions do.

These stallions primarily stand via frozen semen we have in storage at SRSS.  Our staff will still maintain all client communication, billing, contracts, and reporting while your stallion continues to win!

Haul-in Collections

Collections can be scheduled for phantom training, basic evaluation, breeding doses needed for local mares, or ship doses across the US.  Haul-in collections are ideal for local stallions that stand to a smaller book of mares.

Freezing Semen

Why freeze semen?

- Preserve your stallion's genetics for protection against old age, infertility, gelding, unexpected loss, or sale of the horse.

- Keep your stallion in a consistent training and competition schedule instead of dividing attention with collecting throughout the breeding season.

- Stand your stallion to a full book of mares and use frozen semen for extra protection on days there are too many mares on his list, or he happens to give a less than ideal collection.  Mare owners will be very grateful there is a Plan B available to them!

Semen Storage

Storage is available for semen frozen onsite or at other facilities.  Shipping of breeding doses across the US can easily be arranged with our "fleet" of shipping tanks.
